POP is a community of citizens of all walks of life. We
share our opinions with the world and debate about them in a constructive way.
We aim to create a broad-based grass-roots movement which brings together people
who want to actively defend their beliefs, whatever those might be. This is not
a political party of any kind. It is an op-ed column by the people, for the
people.
We have only one rule.
All op-eds are to be fact-based. Any op-ed not backed
by reliable facts will not be published.

We have faith in progress and our ability to shape
that progress through the spread of knowledge. We are optimistic and look to
the future with the aim of creating a better world for all.
We welcome all people to the debate and believe all
opinions are valuable insofar as they qualify as a constructed argument and are
expressed with respect for others.
This community is non-partisan but definitely ideological,
and to some extent political, insofar as we reclaim our place in the civil
society. We believe that, as human beings, we have a role to play in shaping
the future of this planet. We believe that humanity can benefit from the
advantages of diversity of opinion.
We know that we have the solutions to our
problems amongst us. All what needs to be done is to give ourselves the
opportunity to speak up, organize, and act.
